Swedish floorball super star Niklas Jihde created the nick name bigD during his stay (2003 - 2005) in Zurich playing for the Grasshopper Club Zürich (GC). Dario aka bigD was GC's Vice President at this time and responsable for transfering Niklas from Pixbo Wallenstam IBK (Gothenburg) to GC. This transfer was a huge sensation, big newspapers and TV stations in Sweden and Switzerland covered the fantastic story.
Later the nickname bigD turned into a brand.

Swedish floorball super star Niklas Jihde, five time World Champion, has been ranked as 2nd world's best player by Innebandy Magazinet behind Finnish phenomenon Mika Kohonen.
Currently Niklas is working as sportjournalist for viaplay in Sweden.
